Sponsorship has already done a great deal for Chicago and Hardcourt in general. Travel has been made easier for our players; polo-specific equipment has been created and given visibility; resources have been made available to run top-notch tournaments; delicious food and drink has been consumed.
The past 12 months has seen an explosion of interest in Hardcourt Bike Polo and Chicago has been there every step of the way. In September of 2008 we hosted the North American Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships. With 36 teams representing almost every corner of North America, it was one of the most significant gatherings of Hardcourt teams ever assembled and a remarkable collection of talent, style and skill. Since this pivotal tournament the bar has been raised again and again.
Chicago continues to be a large presence in the North American Hardcourt community. For 2010, we are looking to further increase our profile and our numbers throughout Chicago. We will be hosting one tournament and traveling to many others, including the 2010 Worlds in Berlin. We are working toward a court of our own. To reach these goals, we are hereby welcoming ideas for sponsorship for our 2010 season and beyond.
